Hello, I'm Bomi (보미)

UX designer who bridges technology and humanity.

Originally from South Korea, I moved to the U.S. in 2017 to grow both personally and professionally.

My passion for UX began during my undergraduate studies in electrical engineering, where I discovered a gap between technical systems and human needs. That realization inspired me to dedicate my career to creating more human-friendly experiences.

I discovered my passion for UX while developing a heart-rate sensor during my undergraduate project.
The sensor's accuracy was high, but I realized I had no idea how people would actually use it.

Outside of design, I enjoy reading books.

This portfolio was inspired by the book “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir. I’ve created this portfolio not just to showcase my work, but to archive my learnings for others to benefit from.

I'm also a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs.

My house is close to Wrigley Field, so I go to see a game often. They are doing so well this year. I have a good feeling about this season!
